Fire Alarm/Elevator Testing
Service Provided by: Johnson Control, Patriot Fire, & OTIS Elevator Company
What: Testing the audibility of the fire alarm inside each unit (Access needed to the center of the unit, Kitchen/Living room). Testing the audibility of the fire alarm within the common areas of the building. Testing elevators for evacuation drills.
When: Alarm testing starts every quarter (Only a 1/4th of the building at a time), starting at the top of the building on down. Smoke test for elevators takes place annually per the City of Bellevue.
Additional Information: Smoke testing will recall elevators periodically and will not be available for use during testing. Audible sounds from the alarm testing may be heard outside of the designated testing floors.
