Tips for Association Living

Tips for Association Living

At Washington Square Towers we want your HOA experience to be a breeze. Whether you are new to the homeowners association (HOA) or have had past experiences, here are a few tips to help you make the transition to community living:

READ YOUR GOVERNING DOCUMENTS:

Congratulations on closing on your new home! Along with your home, you have acquired documentation regarding the Home Owners Association (HOA) information. Within those documents, you will be able to see what role you hold in the HOA. Enclosed within these documents include Rules & Regulations, and Architectural/Landscape Design Guidelines.

ATTEND MEETINGS:

Have a concern regarding the community? Let your Board know your concerns. They are there to serve you and will gladly help with any questions or needs.

RESPECT YOUR NEIGHBORS AND THEIR PROPERTY:

The governing documents have parking and barking dog restrictions. Abiding by these restrictions help in keeping peace and a relaxed atmosphere within the community.

SUBMIT PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE ARCHITECTURAL COMMITTEE BEFORE INSTALLING:

Prior to the installation of any items within your home, please contact the Architectural Committee beforehand. This will ensure that you are in compliance with any regulations that the city or the HOA may have.

GET INVOLVED:

There are several committees within the community and we would love to have you join! Become involved with events, activities, and future planning all while meeting your neighbors.
